Our annual in-person tech conference, Dev8 COMPILE, brings developers, students, and tech enthusiasts from Eastern Visayas together for a day filled with opportunities to know more about software engineering, computer science, and IT, and connect with like-minded people.

 

This 2026, we are shaking up our conference formula to help further build the skills of our local developers and improve our local Eastern Visayan tech ecosystem. We'll not only bring the awesome talks and discussions, but as well as lectures to help solidify pre-existing knowledge and a workshop on cybersecurity that will be conducted on a separate track. Join Dev8 COMPILE 2026 to never miss the fun!

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

Dev8 COMPILE 2026 is being organized to provide a safe space for knowledge sharing, and forming new connections. We want all participants to have an enjoyable experience in our events. As such, all attendees, speakers, sponsors, organizers, volunteers, and staff of any Dev8 events are required to comply with the Dev8 Event Code of Conduct, which requires everyone to be respectful to each other, observant of venue rules, and welcoming to everyone. We will enforce this code throughout the event.
